NOTE: Effective 07/01/04 on all construction projects there will be a non-refundable fee charged for plans and specifications in the amount of $26 for projects estimated to cost up to $100,000 and $52 for projects estimated to cost beyond that amount. Cash, or business, cashier's, or personal check, or credit cards will be accepted as payment (currently only Visa and MasterCard are accepted). The City of Palo Alto is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to perform a field inventory and verification of CPAU’s electric utility assets. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a qualified contractor to complete a full field asset inventory/verification and to ensure the delivery of the data to CPAU’s GIS software.

CPAU has recently purchased an Outage Management System (OMS) which is to be integrated to both CPAU’s Topobase GIS and SCADA systems. The OMS project requires a system-wide inventory of CPAU’s electric distribution system. To support Outage Management and other future applications, CPAU’s GIS data shall be verified and updated by means of a field inventory/verification process.
